Director Story

Anna Fahr is an award-winning filmmaker based in Toronto and Beirut. Her last narrative short, Transit Game, screened in over fifty international festivals winning prizes in Berlin, Florence, and San Francisco in addition to winning the Golden Sheaf Award for Best Drama at the 2015 Yorkton Film Festival. Her 2006 feature documentary, Khaneh Ma: These Places We Call Home, screened in international festivals and was theatrically released in Montreal. Anna holds a BFA in Film Production from Concordia University in Montreal and an MA in Film and Middle Eastern Studies from New York University.
